1. To increase the number of well-trained minority  scientists by providing students with information concerning academic support, research experiences, internships and career opportunities.

3. To form partnerships among host institutions, local NIS Clubs, area high schools and the surrounding communities.

2. To provide opportunities for students to participate and present the results of their scientific research projects.
3. To establish a Science Network consisting of  students, educators and research professionals.
4. To organize special seminars and  workshops, and present distinguished speakers to provide information related to current research findings and cutting-edge technologies.
